Have we become more tolerant of bugs?
I’ve recently noticed that with every new software update on my iPhone, computer, AppleTv, etc. I’ve come to expect bugs and in many cases, they seem to not bother me anymore. I think to myself “just wait a week and a new update will fix it”. This usually happens and the bug is fixed. As software becomes increasingly more complex, the chances for bugs also increases. Have we started to accept this reality or is there a great opportunity for better bug detecting techniques?
